COURSE CODE AA01 – ACCOUNTING AND BOOKKEEPING
This 600-hour, 33-week program specializes in preparing adult students for entry and mid-level positions in bookkeeping and accounting as accounting clerks and bookkeepers trained for staff-level jobs in the areas of general accounting, bookkeeping, billing and collection, accounts payable, and payroll.
COURSE CODE AA02 – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This 234-hour, thirteen-week program offers job training in basic and technical office skills, as well as a variety of general and specialized clerical duties required by every business. This includes, but not limited to typing, ten-key, computer hardware and software concepts, Microsoft Office suite, and good written, oral, telephone, and email communication skills.
COURSE CODE AA03 – TAX PREPARER
This 108-hour, six-week-month program trains students to prepare simple to intermediate income tax returns for individuals, compute taxes owed or overpaid, using adding machines, computers, and software, follow tax form instructions and tax tables.
COURSE CODE AA04 – TAX PREPARER/ENROLLED AGENT
This 324-hour, 18-week program trains students to prepare taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Successful graduates are prepared to pass the IRS Enrolled Agent exam.
COURSE CODE AA05 – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
This 288-hour, sixteen-week program trains students to become accounts receivable specialist, an important and critical set of job skills including customer relations, invoicing, billing, credit and collection, and cash management control.
COURSE CODE AA06 – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
This 288-hour, sixteen-week program trains students to become accounts payable specialists, another important and critical set of job skills including vendor relations, purchasing, invoicing, and payment processing.
COURSE CODE AA07 – PAYROLL SPECIALIST
This 324-hour, 18-week program trains students to become payroll specialists and acquire the basic and intermediate job skills to assist in the control, preparation, and management of all aspects related to payroll.
